Welcome to PostCraft Mankato Fencing. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Services
PostCraft Mankato Fencing provides fence installation, repair, and replacement services for residential and commercial properties in Mankato, Minnesota and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability and scheduling.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer or property where we determine that the work cannot be completed safely, legally, or to our quality standards.
2. Quotes and Pricing
Free estimates are provided based on information you give us and our initial property assessment. Final pricing may change if we discover unexpected site conditions, such as underground utilities, poor soil conditions, or other obstacles not visible during the initial consultation.
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Material costs may fluctuate, and quotes given beyond 30 days may be adjusted to reflect current market prices.
3. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement. Typically, we require a deposit to begin work and final payment upon completion. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
If payment is not received according to the agreed terms, we reserve the right to file a lien against your property for the unpaid balance.
4. Permits and Property Lines
When agreed upon in your service contract, we will handle permit applications for your fence installation. However, you are responsible for ensuring the fence location complies with your property boundaries and any homeowner association rules.
We strongly recommend you verify property lines with a survey before installation begins. PostCraft Mankato Fencing is not responsible for disputes arising from incorrect property line information provided by the customer.
5. Warranties
We stand behind our work. Installation workmanship is warranted for one year from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in our installation, such as posts that shift or panels that fail due to improper installation.
Material warranties vary by manufacturer and fence type. We will provide you with all applicable manufacturer warranty information.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by natural disasters, accidents, misuse, or normal wear and tear. They also do not cover issues arising from changes you or others make to the fence after installation.
6. Cancellations and Changes
You may cancel your service agreement up to 48 hours before the scheduled start date with a full refund of any deposit, minus any materials already ordered specifically for your project.
Changes to the project scope after work has begun may result in additional charges. We will provide you with updated pricing before proceeding with any changes.
7. Liability
PostCraft Mankato Fencing carries general liability insurance to protect you and your property during our work. We take care to minimize disruption to your landscaping and property, but some minor disturbance is inevitable during fence installation.
We are not liable for damage to underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other hidden obstacles unless you specifically identified them before we began work. We always call 811 to locate utilities before digging.
8. Website Use
This website is for informational purposes. While we strive to keep all information accurate and up to date, we make no guarantees about the completeness or accuracy of the content.
You may not use this website for any illegal purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our website or interfere with other users.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of PostCraft Mankato Fencing and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Blue Earth County, Minnesota.
